Features of the assault rifle HK 416 A5 Burst

Made by Umarex, unde Heckler & Koch licence, this replica of the HK416 A5 has the main characteristics and dimension of the original one.
It is chambered in .177 BB bore, its energy is provided by 2 CO2 cartridges.
The linear magazine has a capacity of 36 BBs, and a 500 BBs internal reservoir allows feeding quickly the rifle during the session.

Made with polymer, light and strong material, mechanical parts are made of metal, as the smooth barrel.
The shoulder stock is telescopic : it slides along a tube, and can be adapted to various morphologies. It has 5 position, and can lengthen of 8 cm.

This HK416 has flip-up style sights, fixed, that fold when not used. It also has a Picatiny "quadrail" : 4 rails over, under and on each side of the barrel.  To personalize the gun as one pleases, with a scope, a lamp, a handle...

The fire selector has 3 position :

• front : safety
• middle : semi-automatic
• rear : full-automatic (6 BBs burst)

Use

Before any handling, turn the fire selector on safety mode.

• Charging the CO2 cartridges :

Pull the magazine off the rifle, pressing the magazine catch, on the right side.
Open the left side of the magazine, lifting it from the bottom.
Insert the 2 cartridges head up, and put the cover back.
Reinsert the magazine in the rifle, and pierce the CO2 cartridges, screwing them down, with the provided key.

Be careful not to let the CO2 under pressure for a long time (only a few days), to avoid an early use of the joints.

• Loading the BBs

Open the loading port located over the barrel, and insert up to 500 BBs.
Push the magazine lever (left side) forward, and block it in the notch.
Shake the rifle until 36 BBs take place in the linear magazine.
Release slowly the lever.

• Shoot

Put the fire selector in the position : semi or full automatic.
Cock the rifle, pulling the rear lever.
Aim and pull the trigger!
