Daggers and hunting knives
A single- or double-edged white weapon, the dagger features a stainless steel blade and ergonomic handle. With its pointed tip, the dagger first appeared in medieval times. Used as a knife or sword, it was sometimes slipped into a knight's boot to protect himself in the event of a fall from his horse. Like the fisherman and his fishing rod, the hunting knife is inseparable from the hunter. Versatile, it can be used for a variety of operations. Depending on its characteristics and shape, it can be used to remove the animal's skin while taking care not to damage the meat (skinning), remove its viscera (evisceration), separate the meat from the bones (boning) or cut the meat into several pieces. Available with either a fixed or folding blade, the choice depends on the application. Fixed for a precise task at home. Foldable for different tasks. Generally made of stainless steel, the blade of a hunting knife resists corrosion and stays sharp for a very long time. To prolong its life and preserve its cutting quality, it is advisable to clean it thoroughly after use. Above all, make sure it is completely dry before sliding it into its sheath.
