The blowpipe is a tube with which small projectiles are launched by the force of the blast. It is a weapon used in the Ninjutsu fighting art and by certain hunter-gatherer tribes, particularly in South America. Historically, in France, the sports blowpipe was practised in the mining regions of the Nord and Loire departments.
