Features of the Trailhawk airgun
In addition to its traditional look with its beautiful wooden butt, the Mag-Fire Trailhawk has the latest technologies of the brand :
- multi-shot operation: with a 12 shots magazine
- NitroPiston Elite propulsion, where a gas piston replaces the spring, with easier cocking and a reduction in noise, vibration and shock when firing
- the Quiet Fire barrel, moderating the sound of shooting
The Trailhwak is in .177 rifled bore, shoots pellets, and is abreak barrel action.
Its barrel is in rifled steel, synthetic sheathed throughout its length.
Its wooden stock is ambidextrous, and has a wide butt plate at its end, allowing good support, while cushioning the recoil on the shoulder. We also find granulated surfaces at the gripping points, ensuring perfect hand support in all circumstances.
The rifle has natural sights, allowing shooting with the naked eye: a fixed blade handlebar, molded with the barrel, and a metal rise adjustable in height and laterality.
An 11 mm dovetail rail is milled on the carcass, in order to mount the supplied scope or any other sighting accessory.
The trigger is adjustable.
The safety is manual, by lever in front of the trigger.
Operation of the air rifle
Engage safety before handling the weapon, to avoid any risk.
- Load the pellets
The magazine simply inserts and withdraws vertically in its housing
Insert the first pellet into the hole at the bottom of the barrel, then turn the plate to "open" the next slot.
A small window at the top of the barrel indicates the number of pellets (leave the housing 0 free, in order to be able to insert the magazine into the rifle).
This magazine also has a quick release button in the middle, which allows to return to the previous notch, and remove the pellet.
Once the charger is filled, simply put it back in its housing.
- Cock the rifle:
The Trailhawk rifle is break barrel action.
Unlock the barrel, tapping with the flat of the hand towards the end.
Then grasp it with full hand, and pull it down at least 90° until the piston is fully compressed ("click").
Then raise it firmly to return it to its original position.
The rifle is then armed, and a pellet is in the barrel, ready to go.
Important: with each armament of the barrel, a pellet is inserted into the barrel: if you remove the barrel after having armed, do not forget that a pellet is already in the barrel.
