A short history of Gamo

The history of the Gamo brand began in 1869 with the production of high quality lead. In 1950, Gamo started manufacturing lead ammunition for air guns. It was not until 1961 that the first Gamo pellet rifle was offered on the Spanish market. Since then, the brand has manufactured other products: pistols, ammunition, scopes, targets and accessories.

A recognised brand

Gamo is the largest manufacturer of air guns in Europe. It is also the world leader in the production of ammunition for air guns. The Spanish company uses the most innovative methods to manufacture reliable, high-quality products. For this reason, they are available in over 80 countries.

From ammunition to pellet rifle

Among the weapons manufactured by the company, the pellet rifle is the most widespread. It guarantees precision and manoeuvrability. Different models of this weapon are available: the Gamo Black Shadow Combo, composed of a synthetic stock with an anti-slip insert, allowing a better grip / the Gamo Replay 10X equipped with the 10X Quick-Shot technology with barrel which allows to shoot 10 times without reloading / the Gamo Hunter 440 which stabilizes the trajectory of the pellet at the exit of the muzzle which favours the precision of the shooting at 30 meters.

The Gamo 19.9 Joule pellet rifle

The 19.9 Joule rifle can be purchased on presentation of an identity card. Above this power, it goes from category D to category C. It will therefore be compulsory to provide other documents: proof of residence less than 3 months old and a valid shooting or hunting licence.
